The Artificial Society
By Richard Duke
With respect to the below—Exceptions are always present: some Americans do worship God.
As some of you know, I have read many books in my lifetime. Many.
I have referred to some serious books on blog posts. Recently I highly recommended that you read The Fourth Turning. One of my subscribers is reading the book and she is shocked at how informative it is.
There are others but I want to mention, again, the one I am SLOWLY reading and STUDYING now: The Psychology of Totalitarianism, by Mattias Desmet. Specifically, Chapter 3: The Artificial Society, proves Murray Rothbard, Ludwig von Mises, and others correct that many Americans (and pastors) worship science, not God, because of minds being controlled and dictated by the state [federal government], news media, universities and woke schools, various institutions, etc. Americans are very much like the Germans in the time of Hitler; and I know much about that time of Hitler because I am a reader of Dietrich Bonhoeffer (and about Bonhoeffer), the theologian who stood against Hitler and was hanged at age 39.
Andrei Znamenski (professor at the University of Memphis), the Russian from St. Petersburg, Russia (who came to America in 1991) clearly shows this (the worship of science and the state instead of God) in his book, Socialism as a Secular Creed. [“Secular Creed” means religion.]
Chapter 3 of The Psychology of Totalitarianism clearly shows, with zero question, that many Americans are (i) worshippers of science (and the author in a previous chapter shows how and why [technical reasons] science is fake now) and (ii) the state (federal government). A lie is now the truth to the elite and the masses; and the truth is a lie. That (previous sentence) includes science; and the author shows clearly that science now is fake; and politicized.

Dietrich Bonhoeffer:
“The Bekennende Kirche—the "Confessing Church"—emerged in opposition to the “German Christians.” Its founding document, the Barmen Confession of Faith, declared that the church's allegiance was to God and scripture, not a worldly Führer. Both the Confessing Church and the "German Christians" remained part of the German Evangelical Church, and the result was a Kirchenkampf, or "church struggle" within German Protestantism—an ongoing debate and struggle for control between those who sought a "nazified" church, those who opposed it, and the so-called "neutral" church leaders whose priority was the avoidance both of church schism and any kind of conflict with the Nazi state.
The most famous members of the Confessing Church were the theologian Dietrich Bonhoeffer, executed for his role in the conspiracy to overthrow the regime, and Pastor Martin Niemöller, who spent seven years in concentration camps for his criticisms of Hitler. Yet these clergymen were not typical of the Confessing Church; despite their examples, the Protestant Kirchenkampf was mostly an internal church matter, not a fight against National Socialism. Even in the Confessing Church, most church leaders were primarily concerned with blocking state and ideological interference in church affairs. Yet there were certainly members of the clergy and laity who opposed and resisted the regime, including some who aided and hid Jews.
-------
Dietrich Bonhoeffer is hanged:
On April 9, 1945, Lutheran pastor and theologian Dietrich Bonhoeffer is hanged at Flossenburg, only days before the American liberation of the POW camp. The last words of the brilliant and courageous 39-year-old opponent of Nazism were “This is the end—for me, the beginning of life.”
Two days after Adolf Hitler became chancellor of Germany, Dietrich Bonhoeffer, lecturer at Berlin University, took to the radio and denounced the Nazi Fuhrerprinzip, the leadership principle that was merely a synonym for dictatorship. Bonhoeffer’s broadcast was cut off before he could finish. Shortly thereafter, he moved to London to pastor a German congregation, while also giving support to the Confessing Church movement in Germany, a declaration by Lutheran and evangelical pastors and theologians that they would not have their churches co-opted by the Nazi government for propagandistic purposes. Bonhoeffer returned to Germany in 1935 to run a seminary for the Confessing Church; the government closed it in 1937.
Bonhoeffer’s continued vocal objections to Nazi policies resulted in his losing his freedom to lecture or publish. He soon joined the German resistance movement, even the plot to assassinate Hitler. In April 1943, shortly after becoming engaged to be married, Bonhoeffer was arrested by the Gestapo. Evidence implicating him in the plot to overthrow the government came to light and he was court-martialed and sentenced to die. While in prison, he acted as a counselor and pastor to prisoners of all denominations. Bonhoeffer’s Letters and Papers from Prison was published posthumously. Among his celebrated works of theology are The Cost of Discipleship and Ethics.

I am appalled by the ignorance of many Americans not understanding the destruction of this country and the destruction of humanity and the God-given free will (of choosing). The destruction of the free will and individual choices is devastating and sickening.
If you read this chapter 3 of The Psychology of Totalitarianism, you clearly will see why I do not want to be around progressives and liberals and supporters of the Democrats at the federal level (they believe in abortions also). But please don’t think this makes me a Republican. I like only two, maybe three, politicians at the federal level. I have and want more friends who do critical thinking and can disagree without getting their feelings hurt or resorting to “how they feel” [no critical thinking] about issues and matters.
I am concerned about my family and this totalitarianism being accepted by the masses of herd thinkers. SEE post below for the DIFFERENCE in DICTATORSHIP and TOTALITARIANISM.
